Bonaventure Cemetery is probably the most famous cemetery in Savannah. This cemetery was featured in the book and movie, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. It is a great setting for taking photographs and in this case I used a digital infrared camera. This series, I converted to black and white, but I have also posted a version with the color cast straight from the camera at: http://johnvanhornphoto.blogspot.com/
This series of photos of the Annapolis Pottery were taken in the early 1970s. The pottery is still in operation and located near the state capital building in the historic downtown district.
The Big Boy series of engines were among the largest and most powerful railroad steam engines ever built. Here are a couple more Union Pacific Big Boy Photographs.
This is part of a series of photos that I took in the early 1970s. I will be posting additional photos in the future from this collection. Prints available at: http://johnvanhornphoto.photoshelter.com/gallery/Englishtown-Auction/G0000qJ7fzvX5S2g/
I am presently working on a series of photos from the English Town Auction in New Jersey, which I took in the early 1970s. The first photo I have worked with is “Sandwich Man”. I intend to post some more photos in the form of Ken Burns type movies here and on You Tube as well as starting work on including these photos on my new website blackandwhitephotoimages.com . Prints are available at: http://johnvanhornphoto.photoshelter.com
